The Authority has created integrated Water supply and sewerage system to prevent Individual and indiscriminate withdrawal of water by the establishments which is affecting underground water quality.

Source of water supply to industrial units in Sec-V, Nabadiganta Industrial Township will be from Under Ground Reservoir (UGR) under construction at Sec-I of Salt Lake City. Water will be pumped through new pumping station to the new 2.25 ML (0.5MG) Elevated Service Reservoir (ESR) through a dedicated pumping main of 500mm diameter (approximate length- 4.27 KM).

Based on the demand pattern, supply of water will be 24x7 and the supply of water will be to the tune of 3 million gallons per day. 24X7 water supply arrangement and collection to be done by SPV.

The Authority provides 24X7 collection & treatment of sewerage to be done by SPV. Sewer Network (RCC Pipe) is of about 17 KM .in length. Total Sewer Network (RCC Pipe) is – 17.0 KM. 24X7 collection & treatment of sewerage to be done by SPV.
